Whilst NGTS launch is put on hold, I came across TexBox that happens to have a mobile app, namely TexMee which I downloaded to my mobile and tried. Upon opening this app, I realised that I can only make a text call to all organisations listed within its directory on the app. All calls are however free if you are connected to mobile data or Wi-Fi. TexMee may offer free calls that NGTS cannot do but TexMee is only restricted to its directory. If you can find your local council within its directory, then good! TexMee is really a closed platform for free calls only whilst NGTS enables the deaf to make a chargeable call to any organisation, company or hearing individual on a much wider, open platform.
